“A man cannot free himself from the past more easily than he can from his own body.” ~André Maurois
While “M” faces a power struggle between the recently merged intelligence agencies of MI-5 and MI-6, James Bond is taken off active duty indefinitely. Of course a little thing like being deactivated isn’t going to stop an agent like Bond. And after Bond receives a cryptic message from his past, he decides to go on a rogue mission that will take him to Mexico and Italy.
Bond gains access to a secret meeting of Spectre, a clandestine organization with a sinister agenda. In order to unravel the twisted knot that is Spectre, Bond must seek help from an unlikely source – the daughter of his old nemesis, Mr White.
As Bond gets ever closer to the core of the organization known as Spectre, he also begins to unearth disturbing truths about a connection he shares with his newest enemy.
Sam Mendes is back at the helm, directing his second consecutive Bond film from a script penned by John Logan, Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Jez Butterworth.
