Day 2:
Second Round: Pick 47- Zay Jones (WR) – East Carolina
As a Senior Bowl and combine standout, the East Carolina receiver has seen his stock rise. At 6’2″ 201 lbs., Isaiah “Zay” Jones broke the FBS record for career catches with 388 catches in his career. He also ended 2016 with 158 catches for the single-season record and 1746 yards.
As a part of a big football family, Jones has all the character you want in a football player.
As a result of the Senior Bowl, he showed off his hands and physical play. Some of the knocks on him are his play speed and lack of creating separation. In addition, his production may be due to the system. However, running a 4.45 40-yard dash at the combine might have coaches feel good about his speed. Among wide receivers, he also was 3rd in the broad jump/20 yd shuttle and 4th in the 60 yd shuttle. If Jones falls to the Ravens in the second round, that would be a great value selection with high upside.
Third Round: Pick 74 (Philadephia Eagles)- Ethan Pocic (C) – LSU
In a weak offensive line class, the Ravens should consider a center on day two. At 6’6″ 310 lbs., Ethan Pocic out of LSU has versatility in his game. Pocic can be a solid starter at center but can also play guard or tackle in a pinch. He displayed some of his strength, athleticism, and blocking technique at the Senior Bowl and the combine. Pocic reportedly did meet with the Ravens at both those events. However, some of his weaknesses include pad level and could have issues against speed pass rushers. He had a decent combine and was among the offensive line top 10 performers in the 40-yd dash, bench press, and broad jump. Pocic could be a good replacement for Jeremy Zuttah as he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers.

Third Round: Pick 78- Fabian Moreau (CB) – UCLA
One of the biggest combine risers, the red-shirt senior cornerback out of UCLA shined in the combine but his stock rose ever since the Shrine game. At 6’0″ 206 lbs., he has the size, speed, and coverage ability to be a starting cornerback in the NFL. In 2016, Moreau had 2 interceptions and 8 pass deflections as a running back converted cornerback. Moreau lit up the combine as a top performer in the 40-yd dash, vertical jump, broad jump, and 60-yd shuttle. Some weaknesses include his limited coverage experience (only Cover 3 and Press man coverage), subpar awareness and ball skills, and injuries.
In 2015, he also suffered a Lisfranc injury so injuries are a concern.
During Moreau’s pro day, he suffered a torn pectoral injury and is expected to be out 4-6 months. He still should be available for training camp and is worth the risk. Moreau is a potential 1st round pick who may fall to day 2 due to injury. Also with the Brandon Carr signing, it allows some flexibility so if he is not available right away to start so he can get fully healthy.
