According to media reports, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is facing a year-long ban after testing positive for marijuana.
Gordon, 23, was the NFL’s leading receiver in receiving yards(1,646) faces a year-long suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy a few months back.
24 hours after landing former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel from Texas A&M, Gordon’s latest run-in with the NFL deals a huge blow to Cleveland’s new-look West Coast offense. With a sudden need for a wide receiver, look for Cleveland to target USC’s Marqise Lee, Vanderbilt’s Jordan Matthews or Penn State’s Allen Robinson in the second or third round.
