MANCHESTER (UK) – According to multiple reports, Manchester United is getting set to sack manager David Moyes following a 2-0 loss to his former club Everton.
Moyes, the successor to legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has been on the chopping block at Old Trafford after the Red Devils stunning 2-1 defeat at the hands of Swansea City, is in the first year of a six-year contract at United.
The 50-year-old Scot has also been at odds with players such as Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney over his training methods.
Currently seventh on the Premier League table with 57 points, United have underachieved and not played up to their usual championship standards that many were accustomed to under Ferguson.
With a current record of 27-9-15, Manchester has failed to attain defend their league title and would see themselves be knocked out by defending UEFA Champions League holders, Bayern Munich, a loss in the semifinals of the Capital One Cup and win the FA Community Shield under his current tenure.
