Lifestyle: 5 Sporting Events You Can Take Your Wife to This Year

There aren’t many wives out there that enjoy the same sports as their husbands, and there aren’t many that enjoy sports at all, but there are plenty of sporting events you can take your wife to that your wife will enjoy because of the areas they are based in.

If you are lucky enough to have a wife that enjoys sports just as much as you or you simply want to take her out to do something different, you should have a look at the following five sporting events that are sure to be entertaining for both you and your partner.

1. Horse Racing – Cheltenham Festival

The Cheltenham Festival promises to produce some exciting horse races for both horse lovers and sports betting enthusiasts. It’s the place to visit for a day or two to enjoy not only the racing but also the restaurants, bars, and stalls on offer.

This is a great sporting event to take your wife to because it has everything you both need to enjoy a great day out, and it means your wife will be able to get a new dress for the occasion!

2. Snooker – World Snooker Championships 2017

If your wife isn’t too fond of snooker because she finds it boring that is okay because snooker is played in intervals.

This means you can watch snooker for a few frames and then go off and do something else for a while until play resumes. This is a great sporting event to take your wife to because you can enjoy the weekend away together in Sheffield as well as do some shopping and eat in fancy restaurants during your stay.

3. Boxing – Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschco

Your wife doesn’t have to be into her boxing to enjoy it as the entertainment in the ring will be enough to get her in the mood.

Anthony Joshua will take on Klitschsco in April which promises to be one of the biggest fights we will see this year and possibly one of the biggest heavyweight fights in the last few years.

The fight is going to take place at Wembley which means you can treat your wife to a night away in a hotel in London – where there are plenty of other things to enjoy as well.

4. Football – FA Cup Final

If your wife loves shopping in London there is no reason why she wouldn’t want to join you at Wembley stadium when the two teams battle it out for the football FA Cup.

The FA Cup will likely be played in the afternoon on Saturday, May 27th and that will give you a good chance to explore the city beforehand, and then visit a nice restaurant during the evening before booking into a hotel for the night.

London offers many attractions to see and places to eat so going to London to watch a game of football for a couple of hours will still leave you with plenty of time to enjoy the rest of London with your wife.

5. Tennis – Wimbledon

Going to Wimbledon to watch the tennis could prove to be an expensive thing to do, but it offers great entertainment and many things to do in the London area.

Not only will you be able to witness the men’s tennis take place but the women will also be on court during the event, and this is sure to be fun for both of you.

If none of the above sporting events appeal to you, you can always click here for virtual sports betting events and have some fun at home instead. The above sporting events promise to offer entertainment throughout, though, and even if your wife doesn’t enjoy the sport, she will certainly enjoy the weekends away and your company.
