In what is seeming to become more common place in the NFL preseason within the last month, Derek Wolfe, Dustin Keller and Eddie Royal would suffer gruesome injuries. 

Wolfe, a defensive lineman for the Denver Broncos would suffer a neck injury and be carted off the field on a backboard during the Broncos preseason game on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.

Wolfe would be hurt on a head-to-head helmet collision during with Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson. Reports are that Wolfe is being evaluated for a cervical spine injury, and showed movement in his legs and all extremities before being immobilized by the Broncos medical staff.     

New Miami Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller—formerly of the AFC East rival New York Jets—signed a one-year $4.25 million deal in the off-season, may now be lost for the year after suffering an injury to his right knee and possibly tearing ligaments in Miami’s pre-season game against the Houston Texans.      

San Diego Chargers wideout Eddie Royal sustained a bruised lung and a concussion during Chargers practice Saturday morning, while initial tests have come back negative, Royal would be taken off the field after landing awkwardly after making a catch.
