Ohio State Buckeyes: Thanks To Primetime Win Over TCU, QB Dwayne Haskins Adds His Name To Heisman Watch

No Urban Meyer. Nick Bosa injured. Haters doubting their first two games, and a tough and tricky foe playing 20 mins from their own campus in their home state. None of these factors stopped Ohio State’s super sophomore quarterback Dwayne Haskins vs. No.15 Texas Christian University Saturday night. In what many consider to be No.4-ranked Ohio State’s first true test away from Columbus both Haskins and the high-scoring Buckeyes aced

Ohio State Buckeyes Football: QB J.T. Barrett Finally Delivers On The Biggest Stage

In perhaps the biggest game of his five-year career in Columbus, Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett finally delivered on the big stage. Maligned for his recent big game meltdowns against Clemson, Penn State last year and Oklahoma recently. Barrett’s 33-of-39 328-yard four-touchdown outburst may have earned him a ticket to New York City. Since the Week 2 31-16 loss to the Sooners, Barrett has been on a proverbial tear

Ohio State Buckeyes: Is RB J.K. Dobbins The Bucks’ Latest Frosh Phenom?

At a school that has produced Heisman Trophy winning running backs such as Archie Griffin, Eddie George, NFL stars such as Robert Smith, Ezekiel Elliott and phenoms such as Maurice Clarett, none of them did was J.K. Dobbins accomplished in Ohio State’s 49-21 win over Indiana. Dobbins, a 5’10, 208 pound, 18-year-old true freshman from La Grange, Texas, rushed 29 times for 181 yards, in Ohio State’s 49-21 win, breaking

While the third-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes did not win a conference championship on the field this past weekend, one reason why they may have been tabbed for the upcoming College Football Playoffs is their massive big name off of it. Home to the “Best Damn Band in The Land” the Ohio State Buckeyes can also lay claim to being home to the best brand in college football as well. Two

CFP: Could No.3 Oklahoma Be The Odd Man Out?

NORMAN – Following their 58-23 demolition of longtime and bitter rival Oklahoma State, the third-ranked 11-1 Oklahoma Sooners punched their ticket to the College Football Playoff, or did they? While Boomer Sooner administered a Bedlam Beatdown of epic proportions on the ‘Pokes, based on their own conference’s lack of a title game, one of college football’s storied programs may find themselves on the outside looking in. CFB: Spartans Once Again Prove To Be Buckeyes Achilles Heel

COLUMBUS – On a cold and rainy night down in the Horseshoe, another Ohio State Buckeyes win-streak would come to an end at the hands of a Michigan team. No, not the much-hated school from Ann Arbor, but the OTHER green-and-white wearing school from East Lansing in the Michigan State Spartans. One would figure that a 14-point underdog sans it’s starting quarterback—and native Ohioan in Connor Cook—and going with two

The Mad Scientist: My CFP Doomsday Scenarios For Week 2

Last week, I began doing a column called "Doomsday Scenarios" for the Power 5 Conferences, and it received quite a reaction and caused some controversy. So, why not continue this as a weekly column until we reach the conclusion of the CFP Standing season. This past week, the SEC actually avoided being "doomed" to say the least. The SEC 's worst-case scenario was Mississippi, being a 2-loss team, winning its
