This effort came to light in an exhibition, “From the Heart to the Hands.” The much talked about event brought out celebrities and big names from around the globe to kick off its opening.
Dolce & Gabbana Set Up an Exquisite Showcase
“From the Heart to the Hands” opened to the public on April 7, 2024. It will run to July 31 at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, Italy. It will then partake in an international tour of some of the world’s top cultural centers.
The fashion house put Florence Muller in charge of curating. He took pieces from three of the brand’s famous collections, Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioelleria, to put on display at the exhibition. The various creations are in ten different rooms, each featuring a different theme that matches the inspirations that went into creating each collection.
Dolce & Gabbana’s work took heavily from the art and culture that surrounded them as they worked to bring their ideas to life. The exhibition tells an interesting story of how these creative minds took a little from various parts of Italy, including the opera, actresses, art and architecture.
A High-Fashion Tribute
Beyond just showcasing inspiration points and collections of Dolce & Gabbana fashions, this exhibition also pays tribute to the hardworking individuals who bring the designs to life.
