Thanks to her famous surname and sultry looks, Kendall Jenner looks ready for modeling stardom.
At the age of 18, Jenner—or as she likes to be simply known as “Kendall”—Jenner has modeled for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Forever 21, appeared in Teen Vogue, Seventeen and famed photographer Nick Saglimbeni.
In addition to her runway exploits, she and her younger sister, Kylie, have created their own clothing line, “Kendall and Kylie” and has ventured into acting as she appeared in a 2012 episode of Hawaii Five-0.
Thanks to these ventures into the areas of acting, fashion and designing, Kendall is set to become one of the new faces of modeling in the 21st century.
Like her more infamous half-sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall has dealt with detractors that feel that she is living off of the Kardashian name and brand, and is only famous because of them.
That being said, one of the reasons why she dropped “Jenner” to go into modeling is that she wanted to go out on her own, which is rather admirable in letting Kendall define herself, name and brand and not be called “another Kardashian” or just being famous because of her controversial family.
While not on the same level as famous models such as Kate Moss, Heidi Klum, Gisele and Kate Upton, nor the type of notoriety as her more famous half-sisters, Kendall has that special “it” factor of beauty and commercial appeal that can attract both fans and critics alike.

No, she’s the new joke
A little harsh, don’t you think, Steven?
You think so, I honestly think she–thanks to her name and looks–could be marketed as the new “it” girl, if done properly. What do you think of VS scouting her?
Sad? She’s getting it because of name only.
