According to NHL.com, Pens head coach, Dan Bylsma has been named head coach of the United States men’s hockey team for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Bylsma, 42, has led Pittsburgh to two Stanley Cups, including a Game 7 road win over the defending champion Red Wings in 2009.

With a career record of 201-93-25 in 319 career games, Byslma would become the fastest coach in NHL history to reach 200 wins with a 3-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators.
