The 2022 NFL season has gone quickly. It is now in week three and it is time to take a look at the 10 rookies to watch.
Thursday night saw Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver George Pickens make the play of the NFL season with an incredible one-handed catch against the Cleveland Browns. The catch has been compared to the one made by Odell Beckham Jr. Here is the catch.

Yet what it enough for Pickens to end up in the top 10? The answer is no. Though several rookies were quiet in week two, including Dominique Robinson, Kyle Philips, and no.1 overall pick Travon Walker.
10. Jahan Dotson, WR Washington Commanders
The Commanders were down big early and end up putting some points on the board. Dotson ended up catching four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.
9. Jaquan Brisker, S Chicago Bears
Brisker continues to excel in coverage and showcased once again his nose for making plays. He recorded 10 tackles against the Green Bay Packers.
8. Trenton Gill, Punter Chicago Bears
The rookie punted four times for 198 yards and averaged 49.5 yards per punt.
7. Dameion Pierce, RB Houston Texans
After a disappointing debut. Pierce looked much better in a closer than expected loss to the Denver Broncos. He carried the ball 15 times for 69 yards.
6. Quay Walker, LB Green Bay Packers
Walker saw more playing time in week two, he recorded five tackles and a pass defended.
5. Sauce Gardner, CB New York Jets
Gardner was targeted six times by the Browns and he got beat for a touchdown. Still he was not giving up the big chunks of yards even though every attempt was completed. He only allowed 49 yards.
He recorded six tackles and picked up a pass defended.
4. Drake London, WR Atlanta Falcons
This one was a little tough, it was between London and Wilson. While the comeback against the defending Super Bowl champion, Los Angeles Rams, one came up with two touchdowns including the game-winner.
London did end up with eight receptions and 86 yards and a touchdown. He also made a reception on a two point conversion attempt.
3. Garrett Wilson, WR New York Jets
The Browns ended up losing in shocking fashion. Wilson played a big role and as mentioned before caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Joe Flacco.
Wilson also finished with eight receptions for 102 yards.
2. Devin Lloyd, LB Jacksonville Jaguars
While Lloyd ended up with six total tackles against the Indianapolis Colts, he played a key role in the shutout victory for the Jaguars. He showcased his coverage skills by recording his first career interception along with three passes defended.
1. Aidan Hutchinson, DE Detroit Lions
Hutchinson did not make much of an impact in his debut against the Philadelphia Eagles. He made up for it in week two, recording three sacks, three quarterback hits, six tackles including two for a loss.
