The Washington Redskins face the Jacksonville Jaguars today at 1 p.m., their first home game of the season. This is also the first home game for Redskins head coach Jay Gruden.
Four years ago, the Jaguars faced a very different Redskins team, led by Rex Grossman. Now they face a team led with talents such as Robert Griffin III, Alfred Morris, and DeSean Jackson, to name a few. Griffin will be under the microscope today as he pushes towards the first win of the season in a convincing fashion. He has faced harsh criticism for his quality of play, with many considering today’s game a must-win situation for him.
And while Gruden has yet to give any hints of change up at QB, a loss today could start that conversation.
