CINCINNATI – After sitting out the Cleveland Cavaliers 106-100 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, LeBron James returned in a big way in Cleveland’s 98-93 win over the Indiana Pacers.

James, who said his lower back was “iffy” earlier in training camp, wanted a “night off” to be healthy and ready when Cleveland opens their season at home against the New York Knicks, looked like he got the rest he needed in scoring 26 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal.

With All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving, missing his third straight pre-season game with a sprained ankle, Dion Waiters and Matthew Dellavedova filled in admirably in scoring 23 points vs. the Bucks and eight vs. Indiana.

Dellavedova scored 14 points in 30 minutes and dished out four assists.

Reserve point guard, A.J. Price  continued his strong pre-season play in scoring 14 points in 21 minutes on 6-of-12 shooting from the field.  Other standouts for Cleveland were undrafted rookie free agent center Alex Kirk who scored eight points and four rebounds in 17 minutes.
