In light of the kidnapping and murder of University of Utah student, McKenzie Lueck, just last month, June 2019, I thought it was important that we go over some online dating statistics and precautions we can take to keep ourselves safe.

-100 murders
Furthermore, 1 out of 10 sex offenders use online dating sites to meet people, as reported by phactual.com.
With that being said, it is extremely important to take precautions when meeting someone from an online dating website.
I personally recommend the get LAID precaution system.

L Let someone know where you are going to be.
It is very Important that you let a family member, or friend know where you are going to be. Let them know exactly where and when you are meeting your online date.
A Always meet in a public place.
