London is emerging as the culinary capital of the world. The best chefs and the best sous chefs are opening restaurants that require up to 2 months of advance bookings. Each restaurant serves up a different flavor for its patrons.

While some are frequented by typical food lovers in search of a memorable gastronomic experience, others are visited by celebrities from around the world. Some of them have earned their first Michelin stars within the first three months of opening.

London is establishing a legacy that will be difficult to replicate by any other nation in Europe or around the world.

Bouchon Bistrot

The Bouchon Bistrot came up in Loire Valley. The owner is a French cooking expert who has trained in several Michelin star restaurants in Europe. It is very fresh and very professional. You can now sample the new French delights in the heart of northern England. Their rustic sharing platter is a milieu of authentic French flavors that go perfectly with their prolific wine collection. The interior is cozy, warm and the staffs are friendly. Office lunches and family dinners are equally pleasant at the Bouchon Bistrot.

Hedone

Hedone is the brainchild of self-taught chef Mikael Jonsson. It came up in July 2011 and quickly made itself known among the gastronomic experts of the city. It received its first Michelin star in October 2012. Hedone does not just sell food. It offers a heart-stopping experience for all its diners with its authentic French cuisine, fresh ingredients and an endless wine menu. Their menu keeps changing a little bit depending on the availability of the ingredients since they rarely pre-cook the items on their menu.

Hélène Darroze at the Connaught

Aside from the classic interiors and a sprawling French menu, the Hélène Darroze at the Connaught is known for the incredible presentation. This two Michelin star affair has a wait of about two months. If you are planning on dining here, better make your appointments early. This restaurant serves up classic French cuisine with a contemporary touch.

Gauthier Soho

Gauthier Soho got its first Michelin star in 2011, and it was only the beginning of its slew of achievements. This restaurant also makes it to the Top 5 of the best food category of 2012 Hardens Guide. It has been voted the best restaurant in several categories in The Times, Bloomberg and Metro. It also includes a vegan tasting menu, which has made Gauthier Soho a favorite haunt of the new health-conscious foodies.

Galvin at Windows

Galvin at Windows offers a grand view of the city skyline from the 1930s inspired interiors. You can enjoy a glass of wine while daydreaming on the 28th floor above Mayfair. This is more famous for its stunning views. Chef Chris Gavin and his team have compiled one of the simplest yet authentic French cuisines. Galvin at Windows received its first start within the first couple of months of its grand inauguration in May 2006.
