Before mass mailing, it’s critical to double-check the database of email addresses for accuracy. One reliable source of the database can be the yellow pages database by datasn.io

After all, it ensures that letters are sent effectively and that most of them are delivered, which is critical for your business. Even ideal subscriber bases lose their relevance over time. Many users forget passwords from mailboxes, abandon them due to spam, switch to another mail service, change jobs.

Therefore, some contacts in the database eventually become invalid. Email service providers lower the rating of those senders who do not care about the cleanliness of their database. The lower the rating, the more chances you have to be spammed or blocked.

There are two important reasons for validation of the emails:

  1. Improvement of deliverability. The higher the deliverability, the greater the reputation of the sender’s domain. The company is less likely to be spammed or blocked by email services.
  2. You save on mailing service spendings. You do not need to pay for keeping subscribers in the database or for sending mailings if these users do not receive letters.

To find invalid contacts in the database, you need to check whether each address exists and whether a letter can be delivered to it. Such verification is called email validation. The process of email validation is quite simple, yet extremely important. For example, if your potential client makes a mistake in the address during the subscription, for example, writes two letters instead of one, then the validation tool will consider the email address as invalid. Also at this stage spam contacts are determined.

When choosing an email validation service, you need to pay attention to the principles of work of a certain email validation service. In the most simple cases, the matter is limited to checking the syntax (@, mail domain, etc.) and other technical parameters. In addition, more advanced services check against large databases of known invalid addresses. Of course, it is preferable to choose such services. You can check the operation of a particular service by uploading several dozen email addresses of known quality (with a certain number of invalid ones) and seeing what the service will eventually show. There will be an error in any case, but it all depends on its size. If the service makes > 20% errors in determining the status of the address, then I would wonder whether it is worth working with it.

It is advisable to check if your b2b email list is valid before mass email sending if you have not sent mailings to this base yet or have not done it for a long time.

It is especially important to validate email addresses if the database was collected without double confirmation of the subscription (without double opt-in), if the addresses in the database are older than 1 year and all this time there were no mailings for them (users could abandon boxes or forget who you are), or you have already sent the newsletter and in the statistics you see more than 10% of non-existent addresses (in this case, it is advisable to suspend the sending of mailings and check the remaining addresses with a validation tool in order to reduce damage to reputation).

There are many email verification services, both online and as software for installation on the computer. Let’s take a closer look at some of them.

  1. ZeroBounce. The service provides very detailed reports with the ability to unload the specific fields that you need. The price starts from $ 0.008 per email for a database of 2 to 5 thousand addresses. If there are more addresses, the price will be lower.
  2. MailValidator has two types of address validation: “Express check” for all addresses and detailed “Full check”. The second option is recommended only for conditionally valid addresses, the postal history of which is unknown. The service has a free trial period. Within a month, you can download 5 lists for free and see the general report of the “Express Check ” without the ability to download a file with addresses.
  3. MillionVerifier. This email validation tool provides concise reports, but with correct validation results. The price among most services is quite low, although the variety of tariffs is less than that of competitors.
  4. Neverbounce. each address is checked during registration, without the use of archived data. NeverBounce automatically removes duplicate addresses for free and excludes high-risk or potentially dangerous addresses from your list. After the check, you receive a segmented report that can be downloaded and modified in Excel or a similar program. The report also lists high-risk addresses and you can either leave the address on your list or remove it according to their recommendations.
  5. Bouncer. It must be one of the simplest services that is used for the purpose of email validation. It can be operated even by those who are completely unfamiliar with Internet marketing tools. Beyond its simplicity, Bouncer focuses on budget by creating plans with no monthly fees. Payment is made as you use the services with the help of so-called “credits”, which never burn out and are not spent on duplicates or unknown results. Email verification is performed by analyzing a whole batch of addresses or checking in real time through the API, which, like the rest of the platform’s functions, is not difficult to master.

It is necessary to adopt certain habits in order to be organized. Every person has their own habits. The difference is that some people are prone to scattering their things everywhere, while others prefer to maintain things in order. The first isn’t inherently bad, but only if it doesn’t negatively impact your life and work by reducing productivity and wasting your time. Self-organization can help you feel more in control of your everyday tasks, which can reduce stress and anxiety. All you have to do now is learn how to properly organize your time and space.

  1. Take down notes. Nowadays, there are so many things that need to be remembered that it’s nearly impossible to keep everything in our heads. And, very frequently, when a person does not forget something, it is not due to a superior memory, but rather to the fact that he keeps track of the things that have to be done. Trying to recall everything doesn’t show your level of organization; rather, it is a sign of lethargy.
  2. Use apps and digital software. There are a lot of tools available to assist you with this work. Make a list of everything: the arrangements you need to make at work, the list of products you need to buy at the store, and so on. To feel productive and motivated to finish more work, cross off items you’ve already completed.
  3. Sticking to a daily schedule will help you stay organized. You may use it to boost your productivity and creativity at work, as well as reduce stress. You are not organized if you are rushing around your apartment in the morning trying to find a clean shirt and eating breakfast on the go. Spending an hour on social media or getting lost in a sea of fresh emails is not a productive way to start the day. A good morning routine is generally necessary for a well-organized day. Imagine getting up on time, eating a delicious dinner, and having your suitcase with all necessary documents waiting for you at the front door.
