Victoria Duval was the hero of day two. The 17-year-old American shocked 2011 champion Samantha Stosur, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

After winning first set 7-5, Stosur just couldn’t find her rhythm in second and third set and she lost both sets 6-4. For Duval, this is her first-ever win on the WTA Tour. Jerzy Janowicz, the 14th seed on the men’s singles draw had a bad day yesterday, as he lost in straight sets to Argentinian Maximo Gonzalez.

Novak  Djokovic and Roger Federer have dominated their opponents, both of them have won their match in straight sets. Viktoria Azarenka and Sara Errani played exceptional matches as they advanced to the Second Round by crushing their opponents and not loosing a single game.
