A Rent Agreement is an important document which is prepared when a landlord is renting out his property or a tenant is moving in a rented property. A Rent Agreement carries the details of both parties. The crucial clauses are also mentioned along with it. Can the landlord change his mind after signing the lease?

There is no chance of escaping in the middle if the lease has already been signed. The answer is emphatically no. No one can alter the lease or agreement unless all parties agree. Changing terms without the other party’s approval is prohibited. 

Can I transfer the rent agreement to another person?

Surely you do it. The most feasible step for any tenant. This method comes handy in many major situations such as if the tenant has to go back or switch places in between of the tenure then the tenant can transfer his agreement to another person his flatmate may be it becomes easy for the tenant itself and for the landlord too. The landlord does not need to look for new tenants plus he has a choice of continuing the agreement with the new tenant as well.

Can we break the rent agreement?

If anyone of the parties break off the agreement without any explanation or reason then the other party can take legal action. Also if any of the parties is being uncooperative then the other party can break off the agreement in between. The party who is breaking the agreement in between should have evidence as to why the agreement is being calling off. The power of vacating and termination the agreement can be done by both parties it depends which one is does it first.
