ATHENS, GA – Following their big win over the visiting Arkansas Razorbacks thanks to the heroics of wide receiver Lynn Bowden filling in at quarterback, will the Kentucky Wildcats catch the tenth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs sleeping down in Athens?

Georgia, who is coming off a shocking 20-17 upset loss to the unranked South Carolina Gamecocks hope to get back on track between the hedges as they welcome the unranked—and always dangerous—Kentucky Wildcats to town.

One of the most talented teams in the country, the Bulldogs boast two of the top offensive players in the country in 6’2, 220-pound junior quarterback Jake Fromm, who as passed for 1,371 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions who is considered both a Heisman Trophy contender and a potential top-ten NFL draft prospect and junior running back D’Andre Swift who is considered one of the top tailbacks in the country as he has rushed for 573 yards and five touchdowns on 89 touches.

Likely fueled by their shocking loss in Athens last week, don’t look for Georgia to be caught off-guard by Kentucky and to come out of the gates flying early. Georgia needs this game badly before their annual grudge match vs. the hated Florida Gators down in Jacksonville if they hope to remain in contention for the SEC East title and a slot in the SEC Championship Game down in Atlanta.

Kentucky doesn’t have the luxury or room for error in a game vs. a national title contender in the Bulldogs, and their best hope is if they can keep things close and interesting, then they may find themselves in position to pull off a monumental upset down in Athens.

Unfortunately for Kentucky, the Bulldogs are not the Razorbacks, and Georgia is going to be more than fired up today, and make it a long day for the Wildcats.
