Nikki Bella returns at WWE SummerSlam (Photo)

The woman’s division of Smackdown got another addition during WWE’s SummerSlam.

Due to Eva Marie getting suspended last week due to violating the wellness policy of WWE, she ended up getting removed from her match at Summerslam. The original match was supposed to be Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Carmella against Eva Marie, Natalya, and Alexa Bliss. So WWE fans were thinking either they were going to do a handicap match or have Natalya and Alexa Bliss find a new partner.

After everyone had their introductions, they introduced Eva Marie, but she did not come out because she was suspended, so after a few minutes of nothing we finally got out our answer. Ring Announcer Greg Hamilton would go on and introduce their partner and then her music hit.

Nikki Bella was out for a while due to neck surgery she had earlier this year and many considered it to be career ending injury. But it was reported last week that she was cleared by WWE doctors. What I find interesting is she was cleared a day after Eva Marie was suspended. She has said in reports that she would probably be on a part- time work schedule.

I am not happy that she returned because I am not a fan of her. I see her more as a Diva and less of a woman wrestler, but I see where they needed her back. The woman’s division of Smackdown is pretty weak as you have pretty much everyone that was involved in that tag match. As much as I hate to admit it I can see her getting the WWE Woman’s title for Smackdown once they introduced at the next pay per view for Smackdown. I see her coming back to help the woman’s division.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out on Smackdown Live.¬†Here she is returning to action during Sunday night’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
