One of the biggest Country Music Festivals comes to Florida the weekend of October 20-21-22 2023. In years past they have had amazing lineups for instance 2022 headliner was none other than Morgan Wallen, 2019 co-headliners were Luke Bryan, Luke Combs and Toby Keith. This year INSC Magazine will be on location and yours truly will be there to document all the action. This years lineup includes Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Kip Moore, Lonestar, Haley Whitters, Keith Urban, Carly Pearce, Bailey Zimmerman and Parmalee.
Some of the other stuff that will be going on during the entire weekend is Dancing with the thunder and Songwriters Showcase. Dancing with the Thunder is a freestyle country swing dance competition in which the winner will be awarded custom Country Thunder belt buckles, campsites for 2024 Country Thunder, Tickets for 2024 Country Thunder, and many many more. Another fun event that will be happening is Songwriters Showcase where you can listen to the stories of some of Nashville’s hottest up and coming writers and their stories behind their hit songs. The Songwriters that will be there are Chase McDaniel, Matt Mulhare, Trent Wayne, SJ McDonald, Mia Mantia, Ryan Beaver, and Benjy Davis. Special times will be set aside so that fans can come and enjoy whoever they would like to see.
Last year it was estimated that each day would draw 30,000 people and while Friday seemed to have drawn that many. Saturday was the big overachiever with 41,000 people in attendance. Security and Park crew said that it took til 4:00 AM to clear out the parking lot after Saturday’s record setting attendance. This year should be just as busy and I’m hoping that the crowd will be as electric as the years past and going forward.
There will be an official kick-off party at Ole Red on International Dr. on 10/19.
