Week 6 players of the week for the 2026 season (games played June 15-21).
Western Conference Jessica Shepard (Dallas Wings) and Eastern Conference is Sonia Citron (Washington Mystics).
Shepard earned her second player of the week for the 2026 season, across three games. She averaged 16.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. Shepard’s outstanding performance included a triple-double (15 points, 15 rebounds, and 9 assists) against the Las Vegas Aces on June 15, and she became the fastest player in the Wings franchise history to reach double-doubles in a single season.
Citron (Washington Mystics) was recognized for her significant contributions during the week, which included the Mystics pulling off key victories over both the New York Liberty and the Minnesota Lynx.
