College Park, GA  – The Atlanta Dream defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 101-92 on Monday,  July 13, 2026, at Gateway Center.

Atlanta’s Angel Reese returned from a recent leg injury and dominated the floor.  Reese led the Dream with 23 points and 13 rebounds, marking her 16th double-double of the season.

The game was tied at 87 with roughly four minutes remaining.  Atlanta responded with a 9-0 run, fueled by a key three-pointer and free throws from Reese, along with contributions from Jordin Canada, pulling away for the win.

The Top Performers of the Atlanta Dream were:  Added to Reese’s outstanding performance were Allisha Gray, who scored 20 points, Jordin Canada, who added 16 points, and Rhyne Howard, who added 11 points.

The Los Angeles Sparks’ top performers
was:  Erica Wheeler led the Sparks with 20 points, Nneke Ogumike with 19 points, and  Rae Burrell with 18 points.

The win improved Atlanta’s record to 14-10 and helped them break a streak in which they had lost six of their previous seven games.

While the loss dropped the Sparks to 10-12, the team entered the game despite front-office changes, having just parted ways with general manager Raegan Pebley the day before.

The Sparks continue to play without star guard Kelsey Plum (Lower leg injury) and Cameron Brink (ankle).

The Sparks will continue their four-game road trip, playing against the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday.
