Following a head injury to starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor, the Cleveland Browns—and their long-suffering fans finally got to see what they’ve been waiting for, Baker Mayfield.

The top overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and the 2017 Heisman Trophy winner, came on in relief for Taylor and completed 3 of 4 passes for 47 yards in completing his first two NFL passes to WR Jarvis Landry and TE David Njoku.

After an incompletion to WR Antonio Callaway, newly-signed kicker Greg Joseph converted a 45-yard field goal with 27 seconds left in the first half.

For the game, Taylor went 4-of-14 for 19 yards, was sacked three times and posted a QB rating of 39.6
