Jesse Eisenberg might just be the hardest working actor in comic book movies, thanks to reports of him playing Lex Luthor in DC Comics’ Suicide Squad.
The actor is not only playing DC Comic super villain Lex Luthor in the upcoming Batman VS. Superman: Dawn of Justice, is rumored to be portray Luthor again. The film, which is slated for release in 2016, has already lined up quite the potential cast.
Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Tom Hardy have been linked to the film in recent weeks, and the inclusion of Eisenberg only adds to the film’s appeal and star power.
Eisenberg might be best known for his role as Mark Zuckerberg in the Social Network, which earned the actor his first Academy Award nomination.
In addition to his roles in the upcoming DC slate, Eisenberg has a slew of new films on the horizon including sequels to both Now You See Me and Zombieland. Eisenberg is signed on to be in Todd Phillips new film, Arms and The Dudes, which might now be in jeopardy due to his inclusion in Suicide Squad.
So, suffice it to say we will see a lot of Jesse Eisenberg in the next couple of years, but since this talented actor has such a powerful on-screen presence, this is not necessarily a bad thing.
