5. Wat Pho

Benjakitti Forest Park, whose lush greenery and elevated walkways make you feel like you’re in a forest, to Tonkin Annam, a charming Vietnamese restaurant serving up some of the best Vietnamese food in the city.

Then there’s Wat Pho (Wat Phra Chetuphon), one of the most important and largest temple complexes in the city. It’s home to the famous 45-meter reclining Buddha and four chapels displaying 394 gilded Buddha images. Arrive early to beat the crowds and enjoy this lesser-known treasure.
