Even though the Spurs are a favorite to win, you can’t count out the Knicks. Despite being the underdogs on paper, the Knicks have a highly compelling case to pull off the upset
The Spurs are favored to win the Larry O’Brien trophy. Victor Wembanya is playing at a generational MVP-caliber level.
He just streamrolled through a 7-game series against the defending conference champs.
San Antonio finished with a better regular-season record for home-court advantage against the New York Knicks.
The Knicks wrapped up the Eastern Conference sweep on May 25 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. New York has been resting, scheming, and recovering.
The Spurs just went through a grueling, physical 7-game series that ended May 30. New York will have a massive freshness advantage in Game 1.
