2013 NFL Mock Draft: San Francisco 49ers Version Three

The 2013 NFL Draft is a couple days away and the San Franicsco 49ers at one point had 14 picks before the trade to acquire Colt McCoy from the Cleveland Browns, which brought the number to 13. Also, cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha got signed to a one-year deal to help out the secondary. Rumors still have the 49ers interested in safety Charles Woodson. Another topic of conversation that has come up is will the team trade into the top 15?  Here's a look at how San Francisco may draft as

San Francisco 49ers Acquire Colt McCoy From Cleveland Browns

The San Francisco 49ers acquired quarterback Colt McCoy  and a sixth-round pick in 2013 from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a fifth and seventh round pick. It's a move that illustrates how weak the draft class is at the position in 2013 and a necessary move with Alex Smith getting traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. As for McCoy he'll get a chance to compete for the primary backup role. He started 21 games in three seasons with the Browns and went 6-15.

Goldson played six seasons in San Francisco and made the Pro Bowl in consecutive seasons. In 2012, Goldson was First Team All-Pro. Known for making big hits and being very good in coverage, Goldson is a physical--and not--a dirty player. Goldson has been fined

Reports : Vikings WR Percy Harvin Traded To Seahawks, Good Fit?

As if the growing rivalry between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers didn't need any more fuel, the Minnesota Vikings will sent disgruntled--yet talented wide receiver Percy Harvin to the Seahawks in a trade. The 49ers responded by acquiring Anquan Boldin from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a sixth round pick. As for the deal with Harvin, it is contingent on him passing a physical and signing a contract extension and it will cost the Vikings its 2013 first-round(25th overall), a seventh-round pick in 2013 and

Reports: Ravens WR Anquan Boldin Traded To 49ers For 6th Round Pick

With wide receiver being one of the weakest positions for the San Francisco 49ers as Randy Moss is gone, Mario Manningham and Kyle Williams due to return from injuries, and A.J. Jenkins, a first round pick in 2012, who didn't catch a single pass last season,  the 49ers had to make a move to bring in a proven receiver on the roster. In yet another brilliant move by general manager Trent Baalke, the 49ers acquired Anquan Boldin from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a sixth round pick. The deal will get finalized when

NFL Free Agency Rumors : 49ers QB Alex Smith On The Move? Chiefs WR Steve Breaston To Visit Browns

According to multiple reports, the San Francisco 49ers have consummated a deal to trade former starter—and current back-up—Alex Smith.  While the team in question is unknown, teams that are rumored to be interested in Smith are the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars.  From a casual standpoint, Smith going to either team makes sense since both of them are facing the reality of being led by Blaine Gabbert and  either

Super Bowl XLVII Reaction : Ravens CB Jimmy Smith, Niners WR Michael Crabtree And The Call That Wasn’t

NEW ORLEANS – In championship games, there are pivotal moments that are decided by officials down the stretch. Clearly, the officiating crew in Super Bowl XLVII didn’t get that memo. With 1:50 left and the Niners trailing the Baltimore Ravens 34-29 in Super Bowl XLVII, Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick would throw a endzone-fade route to wide receiver Michael Crabtree on fourth down and five from the Ravens five-yard line, who would be
